Kate has extensive experience across APAC, USA and Europe delivering creative + innovative digital solutions for global organisations [M&C Saatchi, BBDO, Dentsu Mcgarrybowen; clients: Optus, FedEx, Verizon, Canon, Omega Watches, Net-A-Porter].
Recently awarded a PhD in emerging technologies [AI/XR/web3] from UNSW, Kate possesses deep knowledge and expertise in ethical and human-centric applications of technologies in a diversity of contents.
Before her time in academia, Kate worked in leading global agencies in Sydney, New York and London. As a digital strategist, she was a key player in the establishment of Dentsu mcgarrybowen’s social media capabilities in their New York office. Progressing to a senior role, she was transferred to the London office to set-up their social media practice, which resulted in various new business wins.
She is currently working with organisations to unlock new possibilities and benefits across the employee and customer experience using AI technologies.
Kates writing on the intersection of the arts and technology has also appeared in Guardian, The Conversation, and in the book “Creating Digitally“, published by Springer in December 2023.
